let's have a try with photos - how to make smashed potato

As I see the icon of uploading the pictures, you know me, I have to try it...Hmmm....hehe~~
Here I go to my computer, although it is attacking by unknown virus, luckly I can still open my computer and find something. I found some pictures when we make smashed potato. I told Wolfgang that I feel the taste of smashed potato from the package from the supermarket is not good. He said he feel the same, so we decide we should make it by ourselve, to taste the real taste.

Then, here we go. I use the photos to say it:


First, you need to boil it, water covers the peeled potato, and cook, cook, for very long time. You need to try it time to time to check if the potato babies are soft enough.


Then, after cooked, take out all the water. First smash them with this tool- a German pasta maker. It likes big garlic smasher. This time, it is used for smash the potatos.


This is how the potatos look like after the first smash.


Take a pot, put some milk in, cook them until boil a bit.

Use the machine now to smash the potatos, add a bit milk. little bit by little bit. Until all the milk in into the potatos. Stir it, stir, and stir...

Until it looks like this...smooth and fine.


Then you can season it.
